Pricing Methodology

Every price on this site carries a link to where we found it and the date we found it, so you can check it yourself. We show what a clinic publishes alongside what patients report paying, and we say plainly which is which.

Source A — published by the clinic

Cash prices published on the clinic's own website, recorded by us with a cited source link and a date. The clinic has not submitted or confirmed these figures to us. A clinic's own page is a legitimate record of what it advertises, but it can be stale, can describe a starting-from rate, or can omit fees that appear later.

Source B — reported by patients

Prices reported by patients themselves, describing what they actually paid out of pocket. We publish an aggregate only once at least three independent reports agree, and we do not collect, request, or hold receipts, invoices, or any patient records.

Source C — confirmed by the clinic

A clinic can claim its profile for free, review every figure we publish for it, and confirm or correct each one. A confirmed price is labelled as such and is the only figure on this site the clinic has actually stood behind. Confirmation is free and changes no ranking.

Confidence score

Each price carries a confidence rating built from three things we actually hold: provenance (a clinic-confirmed price outranks a clinic-published one, which outranks a patient report), recency (a figure older than 180 days rates lower, and anything older than a year is not shown at all), and agreement (a figure contradicted by three or more patient reports by more than 15% rates lower). It measures how reliable a number is — not whether a clinic is good.

What we do not claim

We do not claim a clinic confirmed a price unless it did. We do not collect receipts or any patient documents. We do not publish a price we cannot link to a source, and we do not publish a median for a city until enough independent reports exist to support one. A gap in our data is a gap in our data — never a finding about a clinic.
