Clinical Integrity & Verification Methodology

Verified Anti-Aging Clinics is committed to providing patients with transparent, accurate, and independently validated directory listings.

1. The Transparency Score (0–100)

We compile directory data from public filings, medical board registries, official website menus, and direct practice submissions. Where we hold primary-source data, each practice carries a Transparency Score from 0 to 100. It measures how much verifiable information a clinic publishes — not clinical quality, safety, or competence. A clinic can be excellent and score low simply because it does not publish its prices.

Points are awarded only for data we can trace to a source: published cash pricing from the clinic's own website or direct confirmation (30), patient-reported pricing aggregated at a minimum of three independent reports (15), a named provider whose licence we confirmed active with a state licensing board (30), a named provider published without a confirmed licence (5), an itemised fee structure (20), disclosed contract or subscription terms (15), and published direct contact details (5).

Itemised fees and contract terms are weighted heavily on purpose: they are what stops a patient meeting an unexpected bill, and only the clinic can supply them. The top band cannot be reached by verification alone — a clinic that confirms a licence but publishes no fee breakdown stops at 65 of 100 — and it cannot be reached by disclosure alone either, since a practice with no confirmed licence stops at 75. Reaching the top requires both.

Where we have collected nothing, we print "Not yet assessed" and no number. A gap in our dataset is not evidence of anything about the clinic, and we will not publish a grade that implies otherwise.

No part of this score can be purchased. A perfect 100 is reachable entirely from data a clinic publishes for free. Claiming a listing is free, and neither claiming nor paying for anything raises a score or affects organic ranking.

1a. Credential verification is separate and unscored

The credential badge is a distinct signal, awarded only when a named provider's licence is confirmed active against a state licensing board as a primary source. A licence is confirmed only after a clinic claims its profile and submits credentials for us to check — we do not infer licensure from any other record, and a provider whose licence we have not confirmed is simply listed as unverified. Credential verification is free, and we do not accept payment from clinics for anything on this site. There is nothing to buy: no badge, no placement, no points. A failed or inconclusive check earns no badge, and we do not publish check failures. We do not have access to the National Practitioner Data Bank, and there is no public DEA lookup, so we make no claims of either.

2. Review Sourcing & Rating Calculations

We do not write or host direct patient reviews on our platform, nor do we accept payments to filter, remove, or edit ratings. Ratings and review counts are aggregated from public search directories (e.g. Google Business Profiles). We check practice listings against state medical licensing boards and flag clinics showing unnatural review velocity or mismatching business registrations.

3. Clinical Sourcing & YMYL Policy

Anti-aging and hormone therapies fall under search engine guidelines for "Your Money or Your Life" (YMYL). Content is reviewed and cited against primary, high-authority clinical research: the Endocrine Society, American Urological Association (AUA), and The Menopause Society; peer-reviewed literature including the New England Journal of Medicine and Annals of Internal Medicine; and FDA regulatory labeling. Treatments that are not FDA-approved (compounded hormones, compounded peptides, or human growth hormone for anti-aging) are clearly labeled with warnings about compounded therapy risks.

4. Practice Verification & Profile Claims

Directory listings are audited monthly. Practice owners and medical directors can submit credentials to claim profiles, update service menus, or request corrections at chandler@dgfcorporations.com.
